Shop opening hours reduced from Wed 8 April 2020
With effect from Wednesday 8 April the shop will close on weekdays at 3pm to allow the picking and despatch of orders and extended cleaning. Weekend hours are unaffected. The Post Office has already temporarily withdrawn its Wednesday afternoon service.
The shop will be closed on Easter Sunday, 12 April, but newspaper deliveries will happen as usual. The hours listed below will apply during the remainder of the Easter weekend.
We are keen to minimise the number of people who need to come into the shop so that we also minimise the risk of infection within the community. Therefore, we are happy to accept orders from all households in the parish that are self-isolated or in quarantine, or from those whose members are key workers that cannot shop during our opening hours. We are offering, separately, a daily newspaper delivery service that delivers before 10am. Other deliveries will be made on weekdays from 3 -5 pm unless specifically requested for a later time.
All contact with the shop should be by email to email@example.com or phone message left on the answerphone 07396 241642. We will update the website https://plymtree.org.uk with any changes and will attempt to deliver a letter to households known not to have an internet connection.
Opening hours, from Wednesday 8 April until further notice, will be:
|Monday||9am – 3pm||9.30am – 12.30pm|
|Tuesday||9am – 3pm|
|Wednesday||9am – 3pm|
|Thursday||9am – 3pm|
|Friday||9am – 3pm||9.30am – 12.30pm|
|Saturday||8am – 1pm|
|Sunday||8.30am – 11am|
Only ONE customer in the shop at any time please (we accept that small children may need to remain with parents)
Customers are asked to recognise the continual need for social distancing for themselves and the shop staff and stand behind the lines on the floor when their purchases are being checked-out at the till, always keeping 2m from the staff serving them. Please maintain the required 2m separation when queueing
